Children Love Yoga!

Why not run a yoga session at your school or nursery or try something different for your child's next birthday party? Our fun sessions use games and stories to teach children about animals, nature and what their bodies can do through yoga. Yoga stimulates the imagination, enhances respect for others and promotes inner strength. Numerous studies that have shown that children who practice yoga are able to concentrate and focus better. Yoga practice also offers benefits for conditions such as ADHD.

Yoga Eases Stress. Competition in school and peer pressure often cause children stress. Yoga can help children learn how to relax, control their breathing and therefore control their stress responses.

It helps them feel good about their abilities without worrying about how they compare to others. This type of experience helps children feel more confident in themselves and increases self esteem.

Childhood obesity is rising and yoga is a fun way to get children moving. It helps develop strength, gain stamina and increase flexibility and if a child is involved in any other sport, a regular yoga practice is a fantastic cross-training activity that can help avoid sport-related injuries.
