We offer Children's Yoga sessions for schools or nurseries, and even Yoga birthday party's?

During children's yoga practice we use games and stories to learn not just the foundations of yoga poses, but also about animals, nature and basic anatomy. Children will fly freely like birds, roar confidently like lions, stand tall and strong like mountains and grow like trees! It's fun, creative, energetic and peaceful!

Yoga Improves Concentration - The breathing and awareness that is a main ingredient of any yoga practice helps children focus and concentrate. Yoga stimulates the imagination, enhances respect for others and promotes inner -strength. Numerous studies that have shown that children who practice yoga are able to concentrate and focus better. Yoga practice also offers benefits for conditions such as ADHD.

Stress Control - Often with competition in schools and peer pressure children become stressed. Yoga can help children learn how to relax, control their breathing and therefore control their stress responses.

Boost Self- Esteem - Yoga is non-competitive whilst still offering a child the chance to achieve face challenging poses. It helps them feel good about their abilities without worrying about how they compare to others. This type of experience helps children feel more confident in them selves and increase self -esteem.

A Healthy Body - Childhood obesity is rising and Yoga is a fun practice to get children moving. Yoga helps develop strength, gain stamina and increase flexibility. If a child is involved in any other sport, a regular yoga practice is a fantastic cross training activity that can help avoid sport related injuries.
